Boyle County fell just short of Lincoln County by a score of 62-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, Garrard County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against East Jessamine, falling 74-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Garrard County has suffered since December 14, 2023.
Boyle County has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Garrard County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
Boyle County didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Garrard County when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 74-69 victory.
