Wallace-Rose Hill found their leader in underclassman Amir Moore, who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Moore scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamarae Lamb, who scored eight points.
Wallace-Rose Hill's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for North Lenoir, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wallace-Rose Hill will take on Southwest Onslow at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Lenoir, they will head out on the road to face off against James Kenan at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in James Kenan's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while North Lenoir has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
