Baseball Recap: Pocola Gets the Win

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Pocola and Heavener meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Indians came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 7-2. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won four in a row.

Pocola's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Heavener, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Pocola wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Talihina on the 2nd. As for Heavener, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McCurtain at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th.
