Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Center Point). They blew past the Crestmont Christian Prep Warriors 54-24 on Friday. The Pirates pushed the score to 45-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had little chance of recovering from.

Despite the defeat, Crestmont Christian Prep saw an underclassman step up: freshman Luke Oliver almost dropped a double-double on ten rebounds and nine blocks. Oliver is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted three or more in the last five games he's played.

Center Point now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Crestmont Christian Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Center Point is taking a road trip to challenge La Pryor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crestmont Christian Prep, they will challenge Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on Friday.
