The Carver College and Career Academy Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 27 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat King William 99-66 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 53-26.
Carver College and Career Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Camron Paul out in front who scored 31 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The contest was Paul's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tyson Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 18 rebounds.
Carver College and Career Academy's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.67 points. As for King William, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carver College and Career Academy will take on West Point at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for King William, they will be playing at home against Middlesex at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Middlesex knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully King William likes a good challenge.
