Viewmont is 10-0 against the Bees since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Viewmont Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Box Elder Bees at 5:15 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Utah (Viewmont is ranked 48th, while the Bees are ranked 24th).
On Wednesday, Viewmont suffered a rough 62-41 defeat at the hands of the RedHawks. Viewmont has struggled against the RedHawks recently, as their match on Wednesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Mary Carr, who scored 13 points. Aubrey Mulitalo was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Box Elder's game on Wednesday was all tied up 19-19 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 47-39 win over Woods Cross.
Viewmont's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7. As for Box Elder, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Viewmont didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Bees in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 68-64 victory. Will Viewmont repeat their success, or do the Bees have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
