Clear Lake came tearing into Saturday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Lake Mills Bulldogs as they made off with a 12-1 victory. 12 seems to be a good number for the Lions as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Clear Lake pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games.
