On Tuesday, Coventry got the win against Tuscarawas Central Catholic by a conclusive 68-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for Coventry.
Coventry found their leader in underclassman Alex Meinen, who scored 21 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Meinen has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Justus Stephens, who scored 11 points.
Coventry's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7. As for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coventry will take on Cloverleaf at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Coventry focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday. As for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Strasburg-Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
