The Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They walked away with a 50-39 victory over Valley Christian. The victory was just what Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame needed coming off of a 55-35 loss in their prior contest.
Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame found their leader in underclassman Annelise Curran, who dropped a double-double on 45 points and 15 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Curran has scored at least 25% of Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame's points.
The victory got Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame back to even at 2-2. As for Valley Christian, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wellpinit the next time they take the court. Valley Christian will host Wellpinit at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
