They walked away with a 46-35 victory over Forestville Central on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Cattaraugus-Little Valley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nyquan Boswell out in front who scored eight points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Grady Merrill, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12. As for Forestville Central, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cattaraugus-Little Valley will take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ellicottville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. As for Forestville Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
