They had to suffer through a rough 50-0 loss at the hands of the Sundevils. Pojoaque Valley just can't catch a break and has now endured five losses in a row.
Leading Espanola Valley to victory were Jack Purdy and Adrick Deleon. Purdy rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while Deleon rushed for 52 yards and three touchdowns.
Pojoaque Valley has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Espanola Valley, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
