On Saturday, Riverside got the win against First Baptist School by a conclusive 69-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Riverside.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elly Trickett, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Hannah Halt, who scored 10 points along with 8 assists and 3 steals.
Riverside's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for First Baptist School, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will take on Woodmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for First Baptist School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lowcountry Leadership at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
