Even though The Central Bulldogs scored an imposing 35 points on Friday, the Forsyth Panthers still came out on top. Forsyth blew past Central 65-35 on the road. The result was nothing new for Forsyth, who have now won four matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.
Rolly Fisher continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 133 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Forsyth also got a significant boost from Braxton Gross, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 122 yards.
Forsyth has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Forsyth will look to defend their home field on Friday against Willow Springs at 7:00 p.m. Willow Springs is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Willard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Willard presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Central in Missouri (Willard is ranked 70th, while Central is ranked 248th).
