Saint Viator won the last time they faced Lake Forest Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Lions came out on top against the Caxys by a score of 2-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cruz Ruiz Mullen paced Saint Viator's offense, picking up five kills. Ruiz Mullen got some help from Mat Masiclat and his 21 assists. Ruiz Mullen also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Tommy Cholewa, racking up two apiece.

Saint Viator's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Lake Forest Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Saint Viator didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Wheeling on the 25th. As for Lake Forest Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Rolling Meadows on the 25th.
