Basketball Recap: Revere Extends Winning Streak to Four

Revere came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 50-45 victory over the Barberton Magics. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 79-72 back in December of 2024.

Several Magics players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kardiay Tyler, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 boards. Tyler also grabbed six steals, which is notable because Barberton is undefeated when he posts at least five steals, but 4-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Joey Ondo, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.

Revere now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Barberton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

Revere has already played their next contest, a 58-54 win against Highland on the 17th. As for Barberton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-62 victory against Copley on the 17th.
