Rosamond has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Boron Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Rosamond's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten matches.
Last Tuesday, Rosamond beat the Broncos 57-48.
Rosamond can attribute much of their success to Fabian Robles, who scored 21 points, and Andrew Arredondo, who scored 22 points. Arredondo is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played.
Meanwhile, Boron's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight defeat. Their rough 65-39 defeat to Mammoth might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Boron in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now lost six in a row.
Rosamond's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for Boron, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.
Everything came up roses for Rosamond against the Bobcats in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 85-28 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rosamond since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
