With a playoff win on the line, Braden River rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They blew past the River Ridge Royal Knights 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
 While Braden River won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-16,  25-19.

 Braden River can attribute much of their success to  Ella Rodgers, who  had 11  digs. Those  11  digs gave  Rodgers a new career-high.  Mia Mcguire also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
Braden River's win bumped their record up to 19-10. As for River Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.
 Coming up, Braden River will be playing in front of their home fans against Port Charlotte  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. River Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
