On Saturday Winnisquam will take on Bishop Brady at 7:00 PM. Winnisquam are coming into the matchup hot, having won five in a row.
Last Saturday, Winnisquam put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They blew past Mascoma 31-10. Senior Angelo Glover was the offensive standout of the match for Winnisquam, as he rushed for 155 yards and 3 touchdowns. This marked the 5th game in which Glover has rushed for over 100 yards.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Bishop Brady, and their match last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to three. They took a hard 10-25 fall against Fall Mountain.
Winnisquam's victory lifted them to 5-0 while Bishop Brady's loss dropped them down to 1-4. We'll find out if Winnisquam can add another positive mark to their record or if Bishop Brady can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Winnisquam's step.
