Mid Valley's game  last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  15-1 margin over the Blue Ridge Raiders. The high-scoring effort was just what Mid Valley needed considering they were shutout in their previous   game.
  Lorenzo Hernandez made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Hernandez was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Jordan Ricciardi looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched.
 Back at the plate, Mid Valley got a  massive  performance out of  Nick Mills, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Brett Yanoski, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Mid Valley now  has a winning record of 2-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mid Valley's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Old Forge at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Old Forge and Mid Valley are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Blue Ridge, they will be playing at home against Elk Lake at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
