They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 74-14 victory over Cardozo. Jackson-Reed's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Jackson-Reed to victory were Aminyah Muhammed and Kryslynn Stewart. Muhammed scored 15 points along with seven rebounds, while Stewart scored 14 points along with seven steals. Stewart hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillian Lacore, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds.
Jackson-Reed has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Cardozo, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Jackson-Reed will be playing in front of their home fans against Coolidge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
