The Crooksville Ceramics scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They strolled past Miller with points to spare, taking the game 67-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Crooksville also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Miller's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryce Dorsey, who scored 17 points. Dorsey scored a full 32.7% of Miller's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Corey Elson, who scored 11 points.
Crooksville's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Miller, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crooksville will take on Philo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Philo focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday. As for Miller, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Grove City Christian at 7:00 p.m. Grove City Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 65.3 points per game.
