 On the hitting side, Whitehall saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Evan Kovalcik, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 North Schuylkill's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Whitehall, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home.
 North Schuylkill will head out on the road to  take on  Jim Thorpe at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. North Schuylkill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8  runs per game  this season. As for Whitehall, they will head out on the road to  challenge  William Allen at 4:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. William Allen has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.31  runs per game on average), something Whitehall will no doubt try to take advantage of.
