Last Tuesday, St. Joseph came up short against St. Joseph Academy and fell 49-38. St. Joseph has not had much luck with St. Joseph Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
St. Anthony posted their closest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-60 win over Saint Mary's Hall. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for St. Anthony, their victory bumped their record up to 14-12.
St. Joseph opened the new year with a less-than-successful 66-56 loss to St. Anthony. Can St. Joseph avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
