The Cascade Cadets waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 victory over Brown County. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cascade also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2018.
Cascade got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Liviair Campbell out in front who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Smith, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Cascade's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-10. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Brown County, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
Cascade will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethesda Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethesda Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Brown County, Brown County and North Putnam will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully North Putnam focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Saturday.
