On Friday, Osage are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against St. Ansgar at 7:30 PM. If the game is anything like the 35-41 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
Osage couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to Clear Lake by a decisive 40-55 margin.
St. Ansgar had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against West Fork last Friday as they made off with a 53-21 win. The margin was wide but not a surprise since St. Ansgar are ranked far ahead of West Fork in the MaxPreps rankings.
St. Ansgar's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Osage's loss dropped them down to 0-1. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
