Baseball Game Preview: Grace Academy Knights vs. Clear Spring Blazers

The Grace Academy Knights will take on the Clear Spring Blazers at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

After dropping their season opener at home, Clear Spring is headed out to face a Knights team ready to give their home crowd a win. Grace Academy lost 14-2 to Southern on Thursday.

Jaeden Peterson put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Peterson was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Peterson wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Connor Earley, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Clear Spring posted their closest victory since April 18, 2024 on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against James Buchanan, sneaking past 8-6.
