Given Trinity Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while Christ Chapel Academy is ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Christ Chapel Academy still got an impressive performance from David Neaves, who scored 22 points. Neaves set a new season high mark in points with 22. Sean Michael Robinson was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Trinity Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Christ Chapel Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing King Abdullah Academy the next time they take the court. Christ Chapel Academy will head out to face King Abdullah Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Trinity Christian will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
