The Ohio School for the Deaf Spartans can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 71-36 win over American School for the Deaf. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-10.
American School for the Deaf's loss came despite strong showings from John M and Basil B. M dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds, while B scored 15 points along with seven steals. M is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Winkester M, who scored ten points.
Ohio School for the Deaf is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for American School for the Deaf, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Ohio School for the Deaf didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-42 loss vs. Marie Philip on the 10th. American School for the Deaf will head out on the road to square off against Midstate Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully American School for the Deaf focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 on Friday.
