If the Antelope Titans were riding high off their 81-56 takedown of the Cordova Lancers last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Antelope was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 47-46 to Franklin.
Antelope's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being SirMister Harriel, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds. Harriel scored a full 32.6% of Antelope's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Quentin Mitchell was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 10 rebounds.
Antelope's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Franklin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Antelope will head out on the road to face off against Placer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin, they will face off against Del Campo at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Del Campo focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Wednesday.
