The Star Valley Braves scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Jackson Hole 72-7 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Star Valley has managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Star Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kenlee Engelhardt, who scored 17 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Engelhardt is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sheridan Coles, who scored nine points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Star Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 3-7 record this season. As for Jackson Hole, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Star Valley will take on Preston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jackson Hole, they will head out on the road to face off against Teton on Wednesday. Teton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jackson Hole in their respective states (Teton is ranked sixth in Idaho, while Jackson Hole is ranked 43rd in Wyoming).
