Central extended the longest winning streak in AA this week by beating Agawam, 48-7. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Golden Eagles.
Minnechaug Regional took down Holyoke 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Thanks to the talents of Cody Williams and Aaron Owens Central has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Williams leads the league in passing with 855 yards, while Owens has rushed for 407 yards this season. The Brownies' Greg Carelton leads the league in receiving yards with 369 on 17 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Golden Eagles take on Westfield. Central is in first place, while the Bombers are in sixth place.
East Longmeadow made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,479 from 6,771.
