After flying high against the Greenville Tigers last Friday, the Carroll Eagles came back down to earth. Carroll took a hard 59-42 fall against Charles Henderson on Wednesday. Carroll has not had much luck with Charles Henderson recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Carroll lost, one person who can't be blamed is Lakeith Person. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was N'jia Gosha, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
Carroll's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. As for Charles Henderson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.
