Johnson is 3-0 against Del Valle since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Johnson Jaguars will look to defend their home court against the Del Valle Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Johnson is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Texas (they are ranked 53rd, while Del Valle is ranked 561st).
Johnson posted their closest win since January 5th on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-54 victory over Lake Travis.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 82-48, which was the final score in Del Valle's tilt against Bowie on Friday. Del Valle has struggled against Bowie recently, as their game on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Johnson's victory bumped their record up to 25-7. As for Del Valle, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Johnson against Del Valle when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 76-42 win. Does Johnson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Del Valle turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
