While Baraga didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ontonagon Gladiators on Saturday, sneaking past 1-0. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Gladiators: they've now won five in a row.

Baraga's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Ontonagon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Baraga has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Lake Linden-Hubbell on the 13th. As for Ontonagon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Stephenson on the 13th.
