Softball Recap: Robinson Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Robinson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over the Martin Warriors. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Lexi Rosillo was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Brenleigh Robinson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Robinson's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Martin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Coming up, Robinson will square off against Joshua at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Robinson's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Joshua's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Martin, they will face off against Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
