Marionville Wins 20th-Straight Thanks to Cash Pomeroy
Cash Pomeroy's big game helped extend Marionville's winning streak to 20 on Friday. Pomeroy wasn't messing around, rushing for 198 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per carry. The contest was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Marionville's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Pomeroy and Marionville will host Sarcoxie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Guerin Posts Huge Game in 36-12 Win
Marionville picked up their 20th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Bryer Guerin. Pierce City had no answer to Guerin as he rushed for 36 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 165 yards and a touchdown on only 15 passes.
Pierce City had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Guerin it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Guerin saw the Eagles), he threw for 162 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 67 yards on only six carries.

Brodie Rinker continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his sixth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least six total tackles. He picked up a sack and made ten total tackles.
