If Sandusky wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Perkins, they should've done a better job of containing Avisi Gehlot. The Pirates were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blue Streaks on Thursday with plenty of help from Gehlot, who had 11 digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Perkins was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-6, 25-21.

Perkins is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Sandusky, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Perkins wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Lake on the 6th. As for Sandusky, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against New Riegel on the 6th.
