Monarch always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .520 or higher in six consecutive games.
Pembroke Pines Charter's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Monarch, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Pembroke Pines Charter hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. However, it's not like Monarch struggles in that department as they've averaged .421. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
