Last week, Pleasant Ridge had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 34-20 victory over McLouth. Senior Colton Comer, who rushed for 166 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in Pleasant Ridge's success.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Atchison County lost to Valley Heights, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 26-66. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Atchison County.
Pleasant Ridge's win lifted them to 2-1 while Atchison County's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Pleasant Ridge can add another positive mark to their record or if Atchison County can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Pleasant Ridge's step.
