James Hillman continued his hot streak on Monday by dropping his third-straight game with at least one stolen base. He went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Hinsdale Central back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Hillman is becoming a predictor of Fillmore's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-2 (and 4-6 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Hillman and Fillmore will take on Bolivar-Richburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since May of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
