The Marlow Outlaws will head out on the road to take on the Washington Warriors at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Marlow is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.
Even though Marlow has not done well against Purcell recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Marlow came out on top against Purcell by a score of 54-44.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Marlow to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Boyles, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. It was the first time this season that Boyles posted two or more blocks. Mason Holding was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, Washington was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 41-40 to Lindsay.
Marlow is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
Marlow strolled past Washington when the teams last played back in January by a score of 58-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marlow since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
