The biggest upset of the week belonged to Keller Central, who took down 212th ranked Keller Central, 17-7. Jacob Gnacinski threw for 203 yards and one touchdown and ran for 57 yards in the win.
Timber Creek was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in 5A Region I District 4. The Falcons vanquished Richland 20-6 earlier in the week.
Hunter Allbritton was the best wideout in the league this week as Timber Creek topped the Rebels. Allbritton racked up seven receptions for 129 yards. Chris Hernandez helped Timber Creek's passing attack out by catching two balls for 28 yards.
Kenny Hill put up the best numbers through the air as Carroll defeated Northwest. He finished with 17 completions for 296 yards and three touchdowns. Hill's favorite target this week was Luke Timian, who caught five passes for 97 yards.
Dalton Mills was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 32 carries, he ran for 207 yards as Keller bested Richland. Teammate Hunter McEachern added to the ground attack by rushing for 19 yards.
On the ground, the Indians' Mills has rushed for 833 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Adonis Ramos. The Fossil Ridge star has 41 catches for 578 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Texans take on the Falcons. Northwest is currently in second, while Timber Creek is in fourth.
Fossil Ridge moved up to 410 from 501 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Panthers were able to make move up by topping the Chargers 17-7.
