Girard is a perfect 4-0 against Harding since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Indians will head out to take on the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Girard is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
On Wednesday, Girard got the win against Chaney by a conclusive 17-1. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by nine runs or more this season.
Brooklyn Broll made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Girard got a massive performance out of Gabby Doran, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave Doran a new career-high. Gianna Saxon was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Girard was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Harding fell victim to Howland and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 26-0. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Harding saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Azarriah Phillips, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.
Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Girard, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Harding's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Girard has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Harding, though, as they've been averaging 9 hits. Given Girard's sizable advantage in that area, the Raiders will need to find a way to close that gap.
Girard got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Harding by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
