Volleyball Recap: Strafford Has No Trouble Against Lamar

Strafford won the last time they faced Lamar and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this season.

While Strafford won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-19.

Blair Bough paced Strafford's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bough got some help from Reese Darnell and her 19 assists. Ava Lane controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Strafford's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-2.

After both having extra time off, Strafford and Miller will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lamar, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Stockton on the 4th.
