It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lee Central had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They really took it to the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-24 victory. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Lee Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Serenity Williams, who went 5-for-11 en route to 11 points and five steals. Williams has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ke'Myra Dennis, who posted ten points and five steals.

Lee Central was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ridge Spring-Monetta only three assists.

Despite the loss, Ridge Spring-Monetta saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ny'Asia Young put up 13 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Ruby Powell, who earned two points and nine rebounds.

Lee Central's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.9 points over those games. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.

Lee Central has already played their next contest, a 66-43 win against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler on the 24th. Ridge Spring-Monetta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
