Shorecrest Prep gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Riverview Academy Barracudas, posting a 40-13 victory. The Chargers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight dating back to last season.
Shorecrest Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damir Hooker, who rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. Hooker's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards. Damarion Feaster also helped with two scores in total.
