Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Creek). They skirted past the Lake Washington Kangaroos 9-7. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by exactly two runs.

North Creek's victory was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Zach Daniel, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Daniel a new career-high in doubles (two). Another was Ethan Swallom, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for North Creek and bumps their season record up to 4-2. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing ten hits in those games compared to only five in the others. As for Lake Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

North Creek wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Woodinville on the 28th. As for Lake Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Monroe on the 29th.
