The Trinity Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 71-51 defeat at the hands of Fall River. Trinity was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-24.
Trinity's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luka Robles, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carver Dresselhaus, who scored 16 points along with four blocks.
Trinity struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fall River to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaxon Keys, who scored 22 points along with four steals. Keys has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Brandon Brown was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with four steals.
Trinity has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season. As for Fall River, their win bumped their record up to 13-10.
Trinity didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 42-28 defeat vs. Etna on the 9th. Fall River has also already played their next game, a 60-49 win against Modoc on the 9th.
