Montini Catholic had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 16-13 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Leo Lions as they made off with an 11-0 win. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

As for Leo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

For Leo's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derrick Davis III, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Montini Catholic will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
