The Sonoma Valley Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Napa Grizzlies at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Sonoma Valley hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the  team is eager to reverse.
 On Wednesday, Sonoma Valley fell victim to a  rough 9-2 defeat at the hands of Petaluma.
 Sonoma Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Presley Sorensen, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
 Meanwhile, Napa scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. They blew past Montgomery 14-5. Considering Napa has won four matchups by more than eight  runs this season,  Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
  Brooklyn Miller tossed a big game,   tossing seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   eight  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Reilly Parga was  incredible,  going 4-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Ally Michie, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Sonoma Valley now  has a losing record at 5-6. As for Napa,  the  win  got them back to even at 6-6.
 Napa's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Friday. Sonoma Valley has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 6.9  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Napa, though, as  they've been averaging  only 3.2. Will Sonoma Valley keep running through batters, or will Napa buck the trend?
